Thank you for sharing your friend Lynn, it is so nice to hear someone talk about aging gracefully and what I have to look forward to. I hope that I will be able to forget the “whys” and look for the beauty in things in life. I hope that one day I will also find someone to share the good and the bad with…I believe that my next step is to put my trust in God and see where that leads me in my journey into the next phase of my life. Thanks again Robin. I know that there is a reason that I reconnected with you on FB.

Hey…..Thank you for sharing Lynn…..I think for me….I am still beating the WHY’s into the ground and it is exhausting…..I think to stop asking WHY will be a journey for me….and not an overnight success….I need to make some progress…Have a Blessed Day!

I love this post: I am 61 (yikes) years old and am trying like heck to age greacefully. I have found that I continue to learn every day. I have 2 children and no grandchildren but have not given up hope. BUT, I know God has a plan and I will accept whatever happens. My body is not the same, I have never had a weight p[roblem either but now I weigh more, excercise, but can NOT lose weight! I don’t want to starve myself so am TRYING to accelt myself for who I am NOW. The little things are, yes, what excite me too. And I am content now to NOT ask why. WHY NOT?????? I feel very blessed, I have been married for 41 plus years and am still in love with my husband. God is good………….

Lovely thoughts, Lynn–especially now that I’m 49!! I totally agree with “simpler things make me happy–and we only have so much time to love people.” I’ve also driven myself crazy to know the “whys.”

What is it with little dogs? Everybody but me seems to have one. We’ve always had big dogs. Maybe when I turn 50, I’ll get me a little doggy too.
