I’m doing a little pre-planning for our 5th Annual Pumpkin Carving Party coming up on Halloween Day. This is so much fun Peeps.
When planning for a party, I like to take a look back at what I’ve done in the past to decorate…Here’s one of the tables a few years ago…

Another table…this was our very 1st party I think…

The next year was a bit formal…

This is one of the extra tables in the library room…

We’re hosting 25 or so adults at this party so perfect tablescapes aren’t really an option…I go for overall pretty and functional!

Last year I used pumpkins…my favorite pumpkin of all time the Hierloom tealish pumpkin!

This year I’m going more informal. There will be lots of tables so I’ll be able to play with them quite a lot! More on our Annual Pumpkin Carving Party HERE!
I’m linking to Tablescape Thursday over at Between Naps on the Porch for the first time in ages! Lots of table ideas over there!
Also check out The Holiday Party over at Emma Calls Me Mama! This is an ongoing blog-party from now until 2010!!! Such fun!
Love to you Peeps as we live our legacy~one day at a time!

Robin, I hosted a formal sit down Thanksgiving dinner for 40 last year! This year I’m going more casual and maybe even less traditional. Your settings were lovely!

Oh, I really like how you’ve saved all your tables for inspiration each year. I think my favorite one is the first one. I really like how you used the candy corn to fill the vase. Very creative and very cute. Thanks for sharing such good ideas and happy TT to you!

Fall is definitely in the air. The candy corns in your first picture reminds me of…..a few days ago as my hubby was going for his daily run, Iasked him to stop by the store on his way back and pick me up a bag of candy corn for a photo shoot I’d planned. Well, one thing lead to another and I couldn’t stand the temptation of the candies calling my name. So, I opened the bag and commenced to eat them. I figured only missing a few wouldn’t effect the picture I was going to take. Yes… you guessed it! I had to buy another bag….which is still intact for the time being, but tomorrows another day. In my defense my hubs did help in eating the corn.
I may try your beautiful centerpiece idea…it’ll save the candy corn and add a lovely touch to our Fall table.
