Notebooks Covered in Pretty Paper!

by Robin on January 12, 2010

I’m supposed to be organizing my closets and my pantry and my washroom. But I’ve been under the weather since the day after Christmas, so I found something less exhausting to do…I thought I’d use up some of my extra scrapbook paper and make some cute notebooks!

Start with a cheap-o $1.00 notebook like this one…

Some scrapbook paper and (yay!) Mod Podge…

And a sticker or two!

Cover the insides of the front and back too!

I added a little pocket in this one!

Thanks for the inspiration. I can’t wait to try these. Adorable!!! I am assuming that you put the Mod Podge on the book cover, attach the paper and then put more Mod Podge on top to seal everything. Is that right? Love & blessings from NC!

Now this is my kind of craft–making a pretty notebook to keep your thoughts. Love the sayings, too. I do hope you’re better. Surely you are…

Oh, I love you notebook make-overs. Such pretty papers. I have made a heap of those, too – no idea what to do with them… Pressies?

So cute. I always keep a notebook with me to jot down ideas as they come, I’ll have to try this. I love pretty notepads, but they’re so expensive. Thanks for sharing!

These do look easy to do and yet the results look like high end notebooks you would pay a lot for. What a useful and clever idea… I would probably just sigh and use the plain notebook .

I do take and cut the flap off of an envelope and glue it to the inside of my notebooks… but I didn’t ever think to decorate them and make them pretty like yours!

Ok, so I’m sitting here in the middle of the night… finally feeling a little bit awake for the first time in weeks [another storm is coming... it won't last] but the first thing I wanted to do is catch up on you. And look at what I’ve missed!!!!

I LOVE these notebooks. You are so stinking creative, woman.
