1 Month Down~365 Project!

by Robin on February 2, 2010

I finished the first month of the 365 Project!

I loved doing this for several reasons…

~I’m learning a bit more about my camera

~I’m operating in my “right brain” more…a brilliant reader told me this and she’s right!

~I’ve made some uber creative Flickr friends

~I’m looking at the world in a different way, finding bliss in the simplest things

~I’m sharpening my “eye”, discovering the colors, textures and shapes that I truly love

Here are my favorites from the month…

favorites from January 2010jpg

1-My Heart Needed Her This Day, 2-Love my Books, 3-Sweetness, 4-Ellie, Love of My Life, 5-I’ll Make My Own Snowflake!, 6-Sunrise, the day it snowed, 7-Into Focus 8-Simple Pleasures, 9-My Soul Mate:24 years, 10-Oh The Places She’ll Go, 11-Can You Always Follow Your Heart?, 12-Simpler Times~When These Were The Only Blackberries, 13-You Who Are My Heart

Also, the project has been a photographic journal of sorts. Whatever is on my heart on a particular day is what I try to photograph.

If you want to try this you aren’t too late, my niece Anna, did the 365 Self Portrait and started last February. She’s almost done and she’s starting the regular 365! You can start anytime.

The Flickr groups I love for this are: Project 365 and Shutter Sister’s 365.

Here’s a mosaic of my whole month!

Happy February Friends

It’s an ambitious project but it’s a great thing to do something that you follow through with for an entire year. Particularly when its a learning experience.

So….are you going to offer photography classes? These are amazing, Rob! Did anybody show you how to do this, or did you read the directions with the camera?

Oops, You forgot to name the stacking bowls picture. 13 pictures only 12 names.
So your a writer and a photographer too! That settles it now you have to write and illustrate your own book!
Great job!
