Bringing it Home…

by Robin on May 24, 2010

~Rosemary Beach was bliss~

After the stress of the past few months,  I’m hyper-sensitive to everything.

Which isn’t such a bad thing when you’re at the beach with so much to experience.

Things like:

~all the delicious details of your moments…

Beach House 3

~the bigness of  God…

beach view

~ the smallness of everything else…

the little things

~memories of simpler times…

Teal Bikes

~ profound blessings…

beautiful 2

And somehow, I managed to tuck away All Things from the beach and bring them home…

All Things 2

Sending so much love and gratitude today for your prayers and amazing support…

Emma Update:

*Today we get the ultrasound (from the OB GYN) that should confirm what an earlier ultrasound showed: Emma is having a baby girl!

Her name is Lucy Jean!

Jean is after my precious mom Betty Jean, who is I believe, pretty tickled about her name-sake!

Two granddaughters…I’m grinning from ear to ear!

*We have doctor appointments with a Neurologist and a Endocrinologist in June.

*Emma did lose her job because the Dr. won’t clear her to drive clients around, so everything, and I do mean everything, is up in the air.  From my perspective, I feel there’s a giant cloud in the shape of a question mark floating over our lives…from God’s perspective I suspect, it’s just a cloud…

xoxo

The wonderful thing about clouds is that they do past. Beautiful post, that’s how I feel when I’m walking on the beach…..just marvel at all the beauty. I love that Emma is naming Lucy Jean after your sweet mom and I’m praying her pregnancy goes great from here.

Welcome back robin…even though it back to reality which sometimes stinks. But in your case…what great news! I have two girls and wouldn’t trade a thing. Wait until Mike finds out how they wrap grandpas around their little fingers. LOL Hope you are refreshed.

The wonder of time spent at the beach! Coming home feeling refreshed and relaxed. It is just those times that give you the strength to carry on through all life’s trials. And remember, God is with you no matter where you are or what you are facing. He can give you that same peace you found at the beach if you place everything in His hands.

All things work together for good to them that love Him and are called according to His purpose. (Rom 8:28)

Congratulations on being blessed with another granddaughter! I like her name! Your pictures of the beach are beautiful. Happy to hear you had such a nice time. :0)

Ohmysoul… I can feel you, really feel you, in each of those photos. Stunning.

And yes, to Him it’s just a cloud… But I’m here with you while it’s your question mark.

Welcome HOME!

I bet the beach was just what you needed. I know I sure could use it too.

Praying that all the doctors appointments go well.

Emma, sorry to hear that you lost your job. Your health, the babies health is much more important right now so take time and be healthy.

I love the name Emma chose for her baby. BTW, my mom was Betty Jean, too. I’ll add a job to my prayers for Emma.

Blessings to you, my friend!
