Thank you to all the soldiers who sacrificed so much for this country.
I have an Uncle who was a prisoner of war during World War II. He spent three years in a Japanese concentration camp. He was tortued, beaten and almost starved to death. Thank you Frank Smith for your Service to our country. Memorial Day is more than a picnic and a day off!
It is nice to see so many bloggers honor today. Our service men and women have given so much for this country. So often Memorial Day has been simplified to the start of Summer. It is so, so much more. Thanks for helping us remember!
