Chocolate Chip Cookie Banana Pudding!

by Robin on June 11, 2010

It’s Flashback Friday and since I posted a Banana Pudding with Moon Pies recipe last Friday, today I’m doing a different version of Banana Pudding that I’ve eaten at an adorable little restaurant called Swallow at the Hollow…

Chocolate Chip Banana Pudding!

Last time I made it I had a chocolate chip cookie making incident…they were ugly.

So I broke them into big pieces and used them in some scrumptious Banana Pudding instead of using Vanilla Wafers!

Chocolate Chip Banana Pudding

*5 large bananas sliced into rounds

*2 small vanilla instant pudding

*4 cups milk

*1 tsp. vanilla

*1 can Eagle Brand Condensed Milk

*12 oz. Cool Whip or Whipped Cream

*About 30 Medium Size Chocolate Chip Cookies-Broken into pieces

Mix pudding, milk and vanilla.  Mix in Eagle Brand. Fold in 3/4 of the Cool Whip.

Layer Chocolate Chip Cookies , Bananas, Pudding 3 times…

Top with remaining Cool Whip.

I’m serious… this turned out AMAZING!  My cookies had semi-sweet and white chocolate chips in them. I will do this again and use my Chocolate Chip cookie recipe but in a pinch, you could easily use store bought or slice and bake cookies! One recipe of banana pudding took 30 cookies broken into pieces.

Have a scrumptious weekend ~ Love and Prayers coming your way Peeps~

As always, it looks amazing. It is also a great what to salvage those “broken” cookies. My I also suggest that your husband could also solve the ugly cookie problem. :-) That is traditionally my job anyway.
