I was all set to show you our progress in the huge (and getting bigger) project we’re doing …
I had pictures and a little story…
But I woke this morning with a heavy heart and my precious friend, Sara, (Gitzen Girl) on my mind. She lost her dad very suddenly a few days ago. The wake is today.
I’ve introduced you to Sara before, but in case you haven’t met her yet, Sara is a beautiful young woman who is home-bound due to a chronic disease called Spondylitis.
Sara won’t be able to attend her father’s wake.
I went to her website to leave a prayer…I was so taken back by what Sara posted today…
Out of her broken heart comes beauty. And profound truth.

Thanks Robin! This was touching and I am subscribing to Sara. God’s perfect timing as I needed to read first thing. Strangely enough but today was the first day I have ever planned to go into a morning with a specific verse in mind to look for an affirmation. Today’s was Matt 5:4 about blessing, mourning and comfort. I found a blessing in you and Sara today that drew me to Him, where I find comfort! Thanks my friend…
