Happy Monday Everybody! Today’s a big day around here! The good people at Behr Paint have graciously agreed to sponsor a giveaway of Behr Ultra (Paint with Primer)!
I’m so excited I can hardly contain myself! If you’ve been hanging out with me for very long you know I’m in some kind of mad love with this paint.

These shelves for my fun-room are the first thing I painted with Behr Ultra. The Husband was oh so skeptical about the coverage and the fact that the primer is in with the paint…He couldn’t believe the stained shelf was completely covered with ONE coat! About half way through the painting of this shelf my brain nearly went into overload thinking of all the things I could paint.
When we finished the shelves I grabbed the chair you see below…I painted it and well, I’ve been painting almost non-stop ever since…do ya want to redecorate on a budget? Start with paint…

The dinning room furniture...

I used 2 colors of Behr Ultra to do a white-washing technique on this old trunk…

The once-black curtain rods in our little library room re-do...

I painted tables out the waa-zoo…

All the old gold frames on our picture wall…

The entire foyer...(the banister was stained like the moldings.)

The fireplace and the fireplace screen...

The wood blinds in the den…

The TV Cabinet…

The ottoman we made from an old end-table…

The coffee table we made from a dinning room table…

All the walls, moldings, wainscoting and doors in the downstairs…

There are a couple more tables and 2 more lamps but this is getting embarrassing…
It’s safe to say I’ve been on a roll with my Behr Ultra. I’ve always loved to use paint to get a big bang for my decorating buck but even more so now that the primer is in with the paint cutting the labor in half.
Wanna win 3 gallons of this wonder?!?!
There are sooo many ways to be entered over and over again…
When this post is published (Sunday night!) through Thursday…(8/22/10~8/26/10)

Or check out this great Behr website where you can create an account and try out some colors online! It’s really fun but be warned, you could lose an hour or two!
The rest of the week we’ll look around the kitchen! I repainted the cabinets, walls, trim and doors and did a fun project with my pantry door…
Have a day washed in scrumptious color my friends…

Oh man, I have sooo many projects patiently waiting for a makeover. I’d love to win!
I wasn’t sure if I should comment here or on today’s post. The kitchen looks great! I can’t wait to see your cabinets. That gives me an idea for how I’d like to use three gallons if I won, I could re-paint my lower kitchen cabinets. They are black and I love them, but have recently been thinking gray would be nice. With every post I read, learning more about you, I’m sure we could be very good friends! I feel the same about red. Love it in other homes, but can’t do it in mine. Same with yellow. I have to stay on the cool side of the color wheel.

Love you post and the photos! I love the wood trim that you painted. The first thing I want to paint is my lr- it is cranberry color and it has been long enough . Paint with primer that works would be great for this job. I want to paint the kitchen as well -it is an open room so I can’t stop
Other projects are maybe my cabinets, photo frames for sure and some end tables, and our ent center. I guess I better make a list. If you lived next door I know we could have a lot of fun together. Thanks for doing what you do- it really does make my day to get your email.

Another day to say how great Behr paint is….and your giveaway!
After painting my family room, I think I would paint the furniture in my daughters bedroom . It is all mis-matched right now. Her bed is pine and her dresser is early seventies “shabby shic” dirty white, with plastic trim painted gold. Not too pretty, but it works and it was free! A new coat of paint would sure make it look a lot better. I am eager to try this new paint because I HATE to prime. I love to just get in there and get it done!

The Behr paint giveaway sounds wonderful to me!! Everything you painted looks so good ! The house looks so bright and cheerful. Your ideas are amazing.
I still cannot believe ALL the furniture and rooms you painted !!
I would love to have 3 gallons of Behr paint to finish up all my projects, you inspired me to try. I have a wooden park bench, a huge Spanish Style desk, a four drawer chest, two lamp tables and a play room that need to be painted!!
The Behr paint is so easy to use the job seems more like fun than work.
Keep inspiring me!
Ever since I started reading blogs this spring, I’ve heard about Behr paint. I would love to win this giveaway.
My my my, love MY Behr Paint With Primer!!!
Never in my life have I enjoyed a paint project,
or any project for that matter, as much as I’ve
enjoyed this latest B P W P paint project! Oh
happy day! Where’s my brush!!
Since painting the town red is probably not the answer you are looking for. I would simply finish painting my upstairs bathroom and or hallway. Did I win?

Your house is amazing, as well as all those great projects you did! I have heard great things about this paint, so I hope I win!!

I haven’t tried this paint yet, but it sounds wonderful!
I am thinking that after I paint my family room I need to paint a whole bunch of frames so I can decorate in there. There is nothing hung up at the moment and it is looking pretty bare. Oh how I would LOVE free paint!

Everything you’ve painted looks great!
I’m making my plans for the Behr paint I’m going to win. Can’t wait!!
I loved seeing all of the fun things you painted. I too have used the Behr ultra and once I started painting I couldn’t stop. I think I am now brave enough to paint the lower wooden part of my bedroom and hallway walls with this paint! The walls are highly varnished but I think this paint would cover them! I will continue to follow your blog as I really enjoyed the one I read! I have a gardening blog which I need to write in more often!

You’ve inspired me to paint our kitchen table and chairs! After 13 years and 3 kids, it’s looking pretty shabby.
Would LOVE LOVE LOVE to hire a painted to paint all my walls with Behr Paint. I have 30 foot ceilings in my den. I’d be afraid to attempt painting that room.
I think I put all my comments in the wrong spot – on another post. Oops!
You did a lot with all your Behr paint! And here I was uber-impressed with just the pantry doors.

Please, please, please…enter me in the paint give-a-way. I would most definitely run the paint up the street to my daughter’s to help her bring much needed life to their first home…which is definitely a fixer-upper. It would be such a blessing as most of their resources is going to the bones of the house like wiring, plumbing…you get the picture. Love your site and your willingness to share your tricks of the trade.
