If The Husband and I don’t have the tiny granddaughters on the weekend we always make time for a date night. When it’s cold outside we’d rather stay in and cook at home…the other night The Husband cooked filets on the grill and we added the Lemon Garlic & Herb Finishing Butter to the sizzling steak. I CAN NOT tell you how melt in your mouth amazing that steak was!!!! The Husband’s eyes got huge as he chewed that first bite… “I’ll never use steak sauce again”.

( I can’t say enough about how delicious this is on steak.) Mason Jar Light DIY_640We also cooked the mushrooms in the Roasted Garlic & Herbs Finishing Butter- the finishing butter added a wonderful depth of flavor to the mushrooms. Mason Jar Light DIY_641

Do you guys have any ideas for using the finishing butters??? Please tell me in a comment and you could win a $100.00 Kroger Gift Card and a set of 3 Savory & 3 Sweet Private Selection Finishing Butter!

Wow! These look incredible! I will definitely be looking for these at my local grocery. Unfortunately, we don’t have Kroger.

    • Brian says

Lisa, It doesn’t have to be a “Kroger” store, it could also be one of their other banner owned stores, it just depends on where you live. Scroll to the bottom of the page at kroger.com it has a list of “The Kroger Family of Stores”

  2. Lisa says

I have always been very pleased by the wuality of thr the “Private Selection” products from Kroger. I can’t wait to try the finishing butters.

Robin, thanks for the opportunity to win such a great prize. I think the cinnamon brown sugar would be great on French toast (gluten free of course). The honey one would be great on a honey chicken dish. The lemon, garlic and herb, I would try on fish. The roasted garlic and herb, I think I would try on pasta. Wow! Now I’m hungry. Thanks again for the chance to win!

  4. Sandy from Ca. says

I would love these but I have never seen these in Ca before! Do they have them out here or is it just in your area? Thank you for a chance at this wonderful contest I think I might have to have a sweet potato for breakfast since I can’t have gluten so no french toast here( and it’s my all time favorite too) and I will have to check my store when I go out later today. Have a wonderful day Robin and stay warm cause it is cold out there :)

These look so good and if they are as good as other Private Selection items I’m sure they’re good quality. I would use the lemon herb butter on steamed broccoli or asparagus. Yum!

  7. Casey Beaty says

Shop Kroger all the time. Will definitely be picking up these finishing butters. I’d love to try the cinnamon brown sugar in oatmeal, on rolls, and sweet potatoes.
