Mason Jar Light for Christmas- #DamageFreeDIY

Remember my Mason Jar Light for the porch? I love it so much, when my friends at Command Brand asked me to try out some of their Command Outdoor products, I thought I’d do one for Christmas!

Also, we’re hosting our BIG family Christmas party Saturday and it’s going to be in the 70’s! With that kind of weather, we’ll be outside in the backyard with a bonfire and marshmallows! So I thought I’d add a bit of Christmas back there! (Backyard Makeover HERE)

In putting together my first mason jar light, I used these rustic swinging hooks…

But this Christmas light is smaller and attached to my winter sled (which I didn’t want to drill holes in!), so I used Command Outdoor Hooks! They hold the jars and won’t ruin the sled!

And as the sun goes down it adds a bit of a magical glow to the back yard…perfect for our Christmas party. (I think I’m going to change the lights out to white lights and put this next to the front door for a winter welcome…Mason Jar Light DIY_656

I hadn’t planned on decorating the backyard but since it’s warm and we’ll be out here on Saturday, I  added a few snow flakes and lights using my Command Outdoor hooks, it took no time at all to add a little Merry & Bright to the back yard!  If you’re adding a little something to your outdoor space this weekend Command Outdoor Products are perfect for your last minute damage free decorating!Mason Jar Light DIY_658

Beautiful! Would love to know where you found the snowflakes — they are different than any I’ve seen before. Thanks. Hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas!

Cute idea! I love old sleds. These would be great for hanging wreaths and my vintage melted plastic popcorn Christmas decorations. I have used the indoor ones but did not realize they had outdoor ones. I’ll have to remember them next year.
