Creamy Chicken Chili-Gluten Free Naturally

I just put together a new chili recipe… Creamy Chicken Chili.

It’s been so cold here in the deep south of the US. In the winter months The Husband and I eat comfort foods like chili and soups every week.

I make about 5 different kinds of chili but since my favorite thing on a cold day is having a big pot of chili simmering on the stove I am always trying to come up with new ways to make my fave!

Last week I wanted to use chicken and wanted the chili to be creamy dreamy so I added Kroger Cream Cheese/Greek Yogurt Mix! It was just delicious!!!

I’ve been using Greek yogurt in lots of things so when I started my weekly pot of chili, I thought…why not? We LOVED this, I think it would be good in tomato bisque or black bean soup…have you ever used Greek yogurt in your recipes, if so I’d love to hear about your experience!

Enjoy and stay souper cozy this winter sweet friends xo

Doris hello friend! I’m happy to meet you! Do you see the top right of the recipe where it says print? You should be able to hit that button and print the recipe! As for Pinterest, you need an account- google: How to use Pinterest and you should be able to find some directions. Have a wonderful day my friend ox

It was -17 without the windchill this morning on my way to work! With windchill was -40– Ay Caramba! Chili sounds so good. We don’t have a Kroger here, so is this cream cheese flavored greek yogurt? If I can’t find it, would another flavor of greek yogurt be okay, do you think? You’re lucky to live in a region where you have so many grocery store options–I lustfully long for the day we get a Trader Joes or Whole Foods! Enjoy your day!

Marie, I hope it’s warmed up where you are!!! What I used is cream cheese and greek yogurt mixed…if you can’t find any at your local grocery, I think you could add cream cheese to your chicken chili recipe to make it creamy- or even mix in both cream cheese and greek yogurt! I will try that next time I make it xo

This looks really good – will have to try! We don’t have Kroger here in northern IL, nor have I ever heard of or seen a cream cheese-Greek yogurt combination product, but I will just use some cream cheese and Greek yogurt separately. I used plain Greek yogurt this afternoon to make tuna macaroni salad. Much healthier than using mayo!

Melanie, I’ve been using greek yogurt in a lot of recipes lately and it’s really delicious! I think mixing them would work great! Stay warm friend xo

Hi Robin! We don’t have a Kroger here, is this cream cheese flavored greek yogurt? If I can’t find it, would another flavor of greek yogurt be okay, do you think? Or Could I use Greek Yogurt and Cream Cheese seperatley? If so, how much of each do you think I should use?

Allison, It’s cream cheese and greek yogurt mixed! Kroger has other groceries under different names…do you have any of these in your area:
Cala Foods, City Markets, Dillons, FoodsCo, Fred Meyer Stores, Fry’s, King Soopers, Quality Food Centers (a.k.a. QFC), Ralphs, Food 4 Less, and Smith’s Food and Drug. Also owns Barclay, Fox’s, Fred Meyer,
If so they might have a version of the cream cheese & greek yogurt mix…If not I think you could easily add cream cheese and unflavored greek yogurt to your chili recip to make it creamy! xo
