Summer Mantle

I’m pretty sure we can call it summer, at least in my corner of the world! I put together a Few-of-my-favorite-summer-things Mantle the other day and I thought this would be a good time to show you just in case you want to see! :)

Front and center is my string art flag! Ohhhh, I love this flag! I made it for a series of posts I’m doing for another website…the posts will be up this summer and I’ve got an easy tutorial for the flag…I’ll keep you updated in case you want to see it! summer mantle

Have you started pulling out your favorite things for summer? (or for fall if you’re down under!?)

If you’re in the US, observing Memorial Day & you’ve lost someone close while they served in the military…I’m sorry dear ones. So sorry. And thank you for your enormous sacrifice…DSC_9184

Just in case you have an extra minute today…here’s a little more Summer Fun!

Marisa, everything gets lost on my mantle! I love the stone but it’s so dark! I hope you can add some planks to your mantle my friend xo

Your mantel is beautiful. I love the starfish. They are one of my favorite elements to decorate with and they are all over my house. I hope to someday live in a house with a fireplace and mantel to decorate. I’m off to check our your summer art tutorial.
