Blog Pups

If every blog needs a pup then four pups would be even better right!?  My first true puppy love was The Boo. I tell his little story here.

Then The Husband decided he wanted his own pup…and we got Bella!

Then, in a moment of insanity The Husband got me Bindi! Bindi is under socialized and is a bit crazy! But she loves her momma! bindi-lou-who

And Ollie is our precious rescue. I think we’ll always rescue from now on but before now we didn’t know better. Ollie is the sweetest most loving pup that ever lived. Every day he’s thankful for his cozy home and every day we’re thankful for him…

I love our blog pups and yes four is enough one for every child that left the nest!

Just look how helpful they are!!!

I was trying to get a shot of the books and the pups wouldn’t leave the heart alone!

What adorable pups! I just love your story about the Boo. We have 2 cats and a lab and they all seem to know just when I need a snuggle. Thanks for sharing.

Love your pups!
We lost a lab, Buster, at two (got her from a pet shop) and then went to a breeder for number 2 . She is Logan. She is just about one and a little crazy, still, but sooo sweet! She is one funny pup! But, if we go again, it will be a rescue.

Love your Christmasy house and hope to get mine there by next Wednesday. In the meantime, I keep finding new things to make for the grandkids.

We traded two daughters for three male Shih Tzus…one for each grandchild. We adore each one and they bring great joy to our lives as your four do.

Thanks for sharing your beautiful home.

We have two dogs and four cats. Your dogs appear to be house pets. How do you deal with the pet hair? I am forever vacuuming and sweeping. It drives me crazy, although I wouldn’t trade our pets for anything.

jrnygal: Oh the hair is a problem! Only 1 of our 4 pups is a sheds. The other 3 are Malteses and they truly don’t shed a bit. Ollie our precious rescue however, sheds enough for all of them! I vacuum the sofa, loveseat, chairs 2 times a month. And I’m constantly sweeping, swiffering, and vacuuming the floors! It’s a lot of work but they are all so much a part of the family that it doesn’t matter :P

I found your blog, and your precious adorable pups, when I was looking at Rate My Space pictures. Your home is decorated just beautifully but I love your pups most of all!

We are empty nesters too and have our first inside dog, Sandy. She’s a pure bred pekingese and we wonder how we lived without her! I have only one question – with four dogs, how many times a day are you outside taking them to pee and poop, LOL!

Merry Christmas!

Oh my word! They are so cute! Bella instantly stole my heart! (pun intended :P ) Whatta face!

I’d love to have a sweetie like her. But I’m not sure my cats would be too keen on the idea!

I have two Chihuahuas. I fully understand the “furry helpers…NOT.” They are wonderful though and wouldn’t change them for the world.

Oh my. Looking around your blog again and saw Blog Pups?? Had to go see, and read the story of lil Boo and now in tears. I am so glad you found him and I bet he is too. I love dogs, you know, Dogs and Junk are my favs, so Junkdog Design is my blog name. Perfect huh. Go see my babies if you can. We are so much like you guys, Son’s in Iraq, Daughter heading to college, lost our Pug Love Penny after 16 years, so now the two Black dogs fill our heart with love….We got Angus and Winston within a week of each other last year. Went to get one and now I have two! plus the 2 Granddogs…

Loved the story,
Denise

I LOVE your website! I would love to start my own blog to just connect with my family and friends since we live far from everyone. I have a 10 month old and another one on the way and would love to share my stories and pictures. Can you tell me the best way to get started creating my own blog?
