I’ve got a fun project that I did for my craft room/office…a Baker’s Twine/Washi Tape Holder! (Video at the end of the post!)
I’ve so enjoyed mixing function and fun in this room. (Like with our DIY Craft Room Table HERE)
I need organization in my space but I also have to be inspired when I’m working and I’m inspired by ‘pretty’…aren’t you? 🙂
I first saw this project at Damask Love! She used a little different frame, but she inspired me to try this with a vintage look frame!
These frames were from a big craft store and came primed and ready to paint. I put DecoArt Americana Creme Wax on the whole frame and wiped off the excess…
To tint the wax, I mixed a tad of Serene blue Chalky Finish paint in with the Creme Wax and brushed over the ornate parts of the frame…after it dried, I buffed it with a clean cotton rag.
I drilled holes in the frames …
Then added cup hooks and dowels…
These couldn’t be easier and they’re pretty too!
I’m close to being finished with the Craft Room/Office …I can’t wait to show you!
In case you like your creativity in video form… 🙂
