Remember Little Ivy? I posted about making a DIY Moss Topiary form for Little Ivy HERE.
After I planted that sweet Little Ivy, I found some long ivy trailers for super cheap and added them along the edges of the ivy. Within weeks Little Ivy grew and grew…
She grew until she was over running that DIY Moss Topiary! Instead of making another topiary, I bought one at Hobby Lobby and switched it out…
Ivy is so forgiving as long as you handle her with care when working the trailers around the topiary…
If Little Ivy continues to grow at this rate, I’ll have to repot her before long!
If you love plants like I do, check out my series on Decorating with Plants~ HERE !
Your little ivy is growing so beautifully!!! Can you tell me how much sun it gets and how often you water it? Mine is OK but seems to lose leaves from the center??? They dry out and I have to pull them out. XO, Pinky
Pinky, She’s in bright filtered sunlight. I notice when I have her near a heater vent she’s not happy and I’ve been planning to mist her but haven’t remembered to do that yet! (I also read how damaged they get from over-watering, bu I wouldn’t think that would cause the leaves in the center to dry out…)
xoxo
Okay, I’m going to do this one! I have my own Little Ivy sitting on the kitchen sink. She’s in an yucky plastic plant. So, all I have to do is re-pot her and put a topiary inside with her? Can she live inside the house forever?
Sorry to ask so many questions, teacher.
