“Color itself is like one of the senses, enhancing our world and our state of mind.”
(My friends at Behr Paint)
I couldn’t agree more with that quote. While I don’t use bold, saturated colors on my walls, I do love to infuse my spaces with color using accessories or small pieces of furniture…
I told you guys about the 2015 Color Trends HERE and from the moment I saw them, there were several that I couldn’t wait to try…my favorite, Blue Clay…
I use this blueish color all through my house in different shades…
The Behr Blue Clay so perfectly matches the LeCreuset Caribbean color of my tea kettle that I knew exactly what I wanted to paint with this scrumptious color…
We have a narrow table between the breakfast room and the kitchen that was yellowish-cream. I’ve never liked the color but couldn’t find another color that was exactly what I wanted… until I saw Blue Clay!
I had the paint color matched in Behr MARQUEE, which has a one coat guarantee if you stay within the MARQUEE color palette- Since it was color matched, it wasn’t in the MARQUEE color palette, nevertheless it covered like a dream…
I love the pop of color this little painted table gives me… and now…about that giveaway!

BEHR’s Blue Clay is absolutely beautiful! I have it too! I can’t wait to paint something with it. I love how you incorporated the color throughout your kitchen, so pretty! And I must add that I LOVE the console table!! Absolutely stunning!

thanks so much Elizabeth~ have a wonderful day my friend ox
It really does look exactly like your tea kettle. And it’s perfect on your table – it’s a great color and really highlights those great legs. 😉
I love what you did with Blue Clay! It really pulls in all the little touches of blue in your kitchen. Lovely 🙂
Ooooh Robin…..that color is yummy!! The paint looks amazing to work with. I have a few projects where I will be trying the Behr Marquee line….I always use Behr products anyway….sure looks creamy! Absolutely lovely color!
I love the console table in blue! I follow your blog and noticed two “new” things about your kitchen. Maybe I’ve missed your posts about the changes? I see butcher block on the countertops to the left of your double ovens and a rustic wood “box” over your cooktop where the microwave was/is! Have you posted about those changes?
