Autumn doesn’t arrive in a day, it takes weeks for the trees to be color washed in crimson and burnt yellow. Months for the bright orange pumpkins to be ready on the vine and the veggies to be ready for the harvest. I relish each and every one of those scrumptious moments as sultry Summer gives way to crisp Autumn mornings. I’m still nesting around here Peeps and I did another quick and easy little decoration that can be used for Fall but also used for the Holiday Season ahead. I’m budget minded this year.
Remember when I did a re-do on my boring hall-tree? I wanted to use my new favorite color, or a muted shade of it anyway…this sea-blue/tealish hue . But when decorating for Autumn I needed something to pull the teal and the warm colors of Fall together. I found the best ribbon. All of it was budget-friendly too!
I got a $3.99 grapevine wreath and these adorable tiny lights that have a brown cord! They blend in beautifully with the wreath. The lights were $6.99 but thanks to my trusty JoAnne’s coupon I got them for 40% less! The berry garland and delicious teal and bronze ribbon came from Michael’s. (Did you know that Michael’s takes other craft store coupons!?!?!?)
This requires no explanation really…wind the lights and the garland around the wreath and attach the gorgeous ribbon and there you have it!
I’ll just change out the berry garland at Christmas or maybe I won’t! But the beauty of this is that it’ll serve me well through the Holiday Season! Happy Nesting Peeps…
Sending love and prayers your way today~
