I’m flashing back to Autumn 2009 when I helped out with a friends wedding. Kristen and Matt’s wedding was gorgeous and if you’re decorating for Fall you may find an idea or two…
*****
Kristen wanted the guests greeted with this simple grapevine wreath…their last name starts with “C”! I love this!
The dessert table was 50 ways of fun! Cute candy bags and delightful Autumn sweets for the guests to take home…Scrumptious cup cakes and an amazing grooms-cake too! Kristen’s friend, Whitney decorated this beautiful table.
Every table looked a little different. Kristen framed her engagement pictures which we marked on them with a Chalk- Pen, this helped everyone find where they were seated.
The party favors were also the place cards! These were the BEST apples! Some were candy apples, some caramel, some turtle!!! Anissa’s was caramel I think…Anissa was another friend who helped so much that night! ( Kristen and Matt have great friends!)
Their venue was Park Tavern at Piedmont Park in Atlanta…It’s a fantastic venue. Not only is it beautiful but the staff was amazing. It rained buckets and buckets and we just went to plan “B”… the entire evening went off without a hitch.
Here are Matt and Kristen right after the ceremony…oh and who’s that hunky man in the corner? The Husband helped me so much in the set up and with getting the Bridal party down the aisle!
I wanted you to get a peek at the Peacock Blue bridesmaids dresses…the colors popped and I love the shoes!!!
The lanterns were the key to the whole theme. They lined the aisle with lanterns and there were 2 super big gorgeous lanterns at the alter. I loved this and didn’t get a picture of it!
The guest book was a Snapfish Book made from their engagement shoot. The guests signed the pages with well wishes, prayers and loving sentiments. Love this idea too!
Oh, I just love this it is soooo pretty.
Well, you know I am a hopeless romantic so wedding are always gorgeous!
Hugs,
Olivia
Such gorgeous colors. Hapy Wedding Day, Pinky!
Beautiful tables and sweets. As usual your creativity shines! I loved the lanterns
on the tables. You should be a wedding planner.

Well, aren’t you just the SWEETEST person alive to give me a shout out!!!!! Our wedding was so wonderful, it was PERFECT to me. Not a hitch all day: the weather was perfect, the ceremony on the water, right after the minister announced the new couple and they turned around a BALD EAGLE flew in circles over our heads!!!!!!!!!!! It was AMAZING!!!! The reception was a BLAST! The new couple is having a blast in Aruba right now. Thank you again, Robin! This wedding that you helped with is gorgeous!!!! I LOVE the lanterns and all the neat ideas you and she had. Matt and Kristen are an adorable couple! XOXO, Pinky

Oh, Robin…….I am in awe of Matt and Kristen’s beautiful wedding photos! I have never seen a prettier and more personal Autumn Wedding! The soft glow of the lanterns, the rich, warm colors…..and, that pop of blue! Oh, my…..!!!!
I am also aware of the bride and groom’s first names because my oldest son, Matt, is married to his beautiful wife, Kristen!
Thank you for sharing these awesome photos…..and, especially, because my youngest son’s fiancee (and her Mom) have recently invited me to participate in the planning of a May 7, 2011 wedding.
Blessings, sweet friend,
