Remember I told you about our Bathroom Remodel? Well after a little rain delay, it’s a go!
Demo day was last week and since it’s not for the faint of heart… I left the house the moment they started. 🙂 On my way out, I took these pictures with my phone…see that front window next to the ladder….
That’s the bathroom! Our friends at The King’s Carpentry took the window out and did the demo through there! This way everything went out the window and not through the house!
This is from the real-estate photo before we bought the house…
We painted (Pensive Sky-Behr Premium), removed the bench and added an armoire for storage…
But still, we had something different in mind so we knew it was just a matter of time before we remodeled…
We’re switching the shower and the water closet so the shower will be bigger than before. (the shower will go where ittie-bittie Aubie is standing!)
Here is the vanity before we moved in (from the real estate photo)-it was literally falling apart. I don’t even have a photo of it because I had a really strong dislike for that thing…
Not to worry…it’s gone now…
Now we start to put the bathroom back together…and when I say we, in this case, I mean our friends at The King’s Carpentry 🙂
I’m headed to SNAP conference on Wednesday and I’ve never been happier to get out of town!!! When I get back there should be some progress don’t ‘cha think?!
Can’t wait to see it!
I know it will be beautiful and I am looking forward to seeing your “After” pictures.
Perfect time to head out of town! I love everything you have picked out. I’m sure you are so excited to have a new bathroom that represents your style. 🙂 By the way, your landscaping is beautiful. I especially love those azaleas. So southern! I’m sad because my four pink azaleas in front of our house were so damaged by the brutal winter I’m not sure they can be salvaged. 🙁
I googled King’s Carpentry from the north Georgia area. Would that be the same company you are using? I am currently looking to have my master bathroom remodeled too.
Thanks for the info.
Brenda…Here is their FB page! https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Kings-Carpentry/143138105754443 We’ve used them for lots of things and I can’t say enough about how good they are!
What a great idea to take the old bathroom materials out the window !!
I can’t wait to see the new bathroom design !
I am sure it will be awesome!!
Brenda~ Wasn’t that a GREAT idea!!! It’s helped a lot with the mess 🙂 sending love xo
