Hello sweet friends!
I’m so excited to introduce you to All Things Heart and Home’s new blog contributors! These talented ladies are going to be bringing you holiday inspiration from October – December!
If you don’t already know them, you’re in for a treat…it’s my pleasure to introduce you to: Mrs. Hines from Mrs. Hines Class!
After 17 years in an elementary classroom, Mrs. Hines retired from teaching to pursue her passions: decorating, writing and homemaking. Her DIY spirit has earned her appearances on the show Deals which airs on the Live Well Network. She continues to teach and inspire on her popular Lifestyle blog, Mrs. Hines’ Class. Homemaking is her first love. So, when she isn’t decorating or writing, you can find her at home watching television with Mr. Hines or trying to keep up with her teenaged daughter.
(I love Mrs. Hines dresser that she turned into a TV Console!)
Julie from Lilacs and Longhorns!
Julie is a Northern girl living in the Big D (Dallas) with her ranch-loving, corporate office-working husband and two children. She blogs about mixing her feminine style with her husband’s masculine tastes, finding recipes her entire family enjoys, decorating her home, tackling DIY projects and simple crafts, and her crazy life in the Lone Star state. When she’s not being a taxi driver or writing her blog, Lilacs & Longhorns, you can find her eating chips and salsa by the pool.
You guys are going to love Julie’s eye for design. Just look at her dining room!
Tammy from One More Time Events…
Tammy enjoys the challenge of reinventing her décor. She’s great at figuring out how to make something out of ‘nothing’. Her works shows her love for decorating and she’s living proof that you can decorate with what you have…| recycled materials and a few simple craft supplies are all you need to create beauty in your home. And that certainly shows in Tammy’s beautiful spaces.
Tammy used to own a retail scrapbooking business and her blog is that ‘One More Time’ love affair with the creative world.
The soft colors in this buffet vignette are so beautiful…
Dorrie from Simple Southern Charm
Dorrie is a mom of 5. She loves all things DIY from crafts to construction and everything in between.
Although Dorrie loves her house, it’s undergoing a transformation. In an effort to live intentionally and purposefully and to make her home as functional as possible, she says: “stuff is always changing” Dorrie isn’t looking for picture perfect. “Cohesive chaos is what I’m shooting for”!
Dorrie has great craft tutorials as well as DIY projects! I love this Sand Stone Textural Tutorial!
So if you have a minute, visit my new contributors and watch for their inspiration over the next few months! I’m so excited to have them visit with us!
Sending love~ xo
