Can you believe Christmas is so very close??? Are you ready?
I made a major mistake this week guys…while cleaning up after wrapping some presents, somehow I threw away 4 pairs of Christmas PJ’s!!!!! My three grown-up girls and I always wear matching PJ’s on Christmas Eve, it’s a tradition…but this year they got mixed up with the bags of wrapping paper bits and department store bags and whatever else and…
I THREW THEM AWAY!!!!!!!!
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
I just had to tell you…somehow it makes me feel better. But on a lighter, happier subject, sigh. Let’s talk about decorating the bedroom for Christmas!
We haven’t finished the master bedroom on Stone House Lane so I almost didn’t deck the halls in there! But at the last minute I thought we needed a little Christmas in the bedroom!
An easy way to bring Christmas to the bedroom is simply by adding a little fresh greenery to your headboard…
Stockings on the foot board say Merry Christmas, don’t ‘cha think?
~The prayer candles and paperwhites make me smile~
I’m glad I added a little Christmas to the bedroom, it took less than an hour and we have really enjoyed it…
Robin everything looks wonderful. I love your style and the colors you use. Always look forward to your posts. Thank you!
I LOVE how you mention the faux pas and then move along quickly to something happy. What a life lesson for sure!
You know, you could decorate for a B and B. Or open one.
Such a peaceful easy feeling in these pictures.
XOXOXO
I love the bedroom! So sorry about your pjs………but I’m sure yall will come up with something that matches for Christmas!!
I love your blog; have even created a folder to keep all the email notifications to refer back to!
I have question about the photos from your bedroom; is there a link to the piece of furniture that you have the prayer candles & paperwhites? I love that weathered look and plan to try to refinish my dark brown stained kitchen cabinets to something that looks weathered and white-washed.
Thanks for any help and again LOVE your blog!

Hi Janice! I’m so happy to meet you!!! Thank you for all your sweet encouraging words.
I found that bench at a second-hand store years ago…but I have some idea on painting and distressing under the catagory: All Things Behr Paint with Primer
Maybe that would help 🙂
I paint EVERYTHING and distress most of it!!!
Merry Christmas my new friend

I haven’t done Christmas in our room but WILL next year. I love what you have done. We haven’t finished the master yet either so I haven’t shared that yet. Yours looks BIG. We got a new piece of furniture delivered yesterday and I hate it. But it’s staying. Oh well. XO, P

Thanks for your response! I just discovered the wonderful Behr Paint with Primer!! LOVE THAT STUFF!! I used it to paint the half paneling in my living room and the sheetrock above and it came out wonderfully! I am sold on Behr Paint/Primer Combo!
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year
