I put together a Christmas Home Tour because sometimes it’s fun to look at everything in one post but each room has a link to more photos, just in case you’re interested!
(Video at the end of post…)
With just a few days left till Christmas, I’m spending every second celebrating with Mike and the Littles.
Our big family party was last Saturday. Thirty-one of us spend all day making merry! We do Italian for this party, Mike makes his famous 🙂 lasagna and everyone brings appetizers and desserts. The 8 kiddos open gifts and the adults have a Mean Santa gift exchange…
It’s a special gathering since we won’t all get together again until Easter…
On Christmas Eve, our four grown children and five grandchildren come over …
Since Mike and I always host the big family Christmas party on the Saturday before Christmas, we keep Christmas Eve delightfully simple. The girls and I make appetizers and desserts and for dinner we have everything to make your own Paninis …
The Littles open presents and do a little craft (this year the little girls are making flower crowns…)
We also play games…
And end the night with Christmas pajamas for the girls and the Littles…
Mike and I always cook Christmas breakfast and anyone can drop in! Wanna come?!

After Christmas breakfast, we usually snuggle in with the pups and Reba the Cat and just relax…
Those traditions, the ones between Thanksgiving and Christmas, keep us busy for weeks on end…
I love every moment. The cooking. The cleaning. The decorating…
The present buying…
The morning Advent devotions…
Cookie baking, gingerbread house making…
School programs, Christmas movies, singing carols with the Littles…

Every little moment. Even the frazzled ones…
Because the moments, the memories, they always make me smile…
If you have time, will you tell me about your Christmas traditions?

I’d love to know how you’re spending your moments from now until Christmas Day…

Your home is so comforting. I feel love. Just wondering how many pets do,you have? Merry Christmas to you and yours and Happy New Year. Linda
Linda, thank you my friend…oh my pets!!! We have 5 pups and Reba-the-Cat! Isn’t that NUTS!? Mike and I truly love animals and keep adding to the little farm! 🙂 xo
Everything is beautiful, Robin! I wish mine was all together, but it isn’t! However, I will take pictures…for my own enjoyment since I don’t have a blog…on Thursday before we celebrate Christmas Eve.
I love your advent garland. Is it available to print on line somewhere? Sorry if I missed it in another post. Blessing to you and your family and a Merry Christ mas !!
SandyK…sorry, I just saw this! The advent garland is from A Holy Experience, Ann Voskamp’s blog! She has lots of “freebies” like this —you’ll love love love it! ox
Have a great one! Merry Christmas!
Your home is beautiful and your decorations festive, but the heart of your home is the love that you share with everyone who enters. (The same as on this blog! 😉 ) I know your family and the traditions you share each year are very special. I’m sure many moments to treasure and ponder. 🙂 We had our crazy, loud, fun family (and a few friends) party last night and I am thankful for more memories made. God has been very good to our extended family this year. 🙂 We still have a little more “merry making” to do, but it will be a quieter Christmas this year since our daughter is at her in-laws. I hope you have a blessed Christmas and make many more wonderful memories Robin!!
Gina, thank you for always being such a blessing to me my friend…I’m looking forward to touching base more in the new year…sending love xo
