The word has been chasing me around for months. Jumping off the page in my quiet time and wiggling it’s way into my thoughts and prayers.
It means to watch-to contemplate -to gaze upon.
And if there’s ever a time I want to slow down, if there’s ever a time I want to watch…to contemplate and to gaze...it’s during the Christmas season.
So Behold has become my theme this holiday.
Maybe looking at my mantel everyday will remind me…
Who knows, maybe by adding the word front and center, I’ll remember to take time for contemplating the meaning of Christmas…
At dusk, as a hush falls outside my window, being surrounded by candles and twinkle lights might just bring the hush inside the house and maybe, just maybe, inside my busy heart as well…
Can you think of one word that would capture your wish this holiday?
If so, would you consider adding it into your celebrations and decorations to help you remember?
~Sending love my friends~
