It’s coming…can you believe that next week is Thanksgiving!?
Today my friend and contributor to the blog, Tammy from One More Time Events is sharing some fantastic tips for decorating your space for Thanksgiving…
Quick and Simple Ideas for a Fall Setting
I am so excited to be back to share with you again here at All Things Heart and Home readers. If you missed last months post I would like to introduce myself… I am Tammy from One More Time Events where I share all things home– decorating, re-purposing and refinishing, creating something from nothing, along with coffee recipes!
Today I thought I would share some quick and simple ways to bring Fall into your home, with just a few painted dollar store pumpkins along with some repurposed and refinished pieces.
There is something about this season, feeling like I am in a huge whirlwind of Fall and Christmas all at the same time… No seriously… While Thanksgiving is in the family room and Christmas ideas in the Formal dining room my kitchen table filled with projects that need to get done …whew… so it’s like, where to I start and finish so my house can get back in order??? Do you have these similar scenarios going on in your home? Before Thanksgiving is here and gone I thought I would share some quick Fall decorating ideas. So if you haven’t decorated for Fall yet…as I am sure most of you have, but if you haven’t or just need a quick change or maybe ideas for next year here are few simple ideas.
Decorating the Coffee Table
Here on the vintage window coffee table, a couple of silver trays were placed and filled with a couple of metal orbs filled with ivy and a few painted Dollar store pumpkins painted in grey and highlighted with some darker grey stain.
I know I could have left them their original color, but If you follow me over at One More Time Events you know I have this thing about matching and if it doesn’t match…it gets painted.
Creating a Backdrop on the Mantel:
To Create a backdrop to the mantel a couple brushed silver trays and Mercury candle holders were placed.
Creating a simple Centerpiece:
This is a simple yet it says everything Fall by placing wheat in a large silver pitcher
Adding to the Hearth:
On the hearth I pulled some logs from the yard and placed them in a wire handled basket wrapping it all up with some Fall colored chevron ribbon along with a couple of grey candles placed in tall metal candle sticks…
On the other side some natural florals and orbs filled a farmhouse bucket along with refinished faux rusted mailbox filled with faux grass
I hope you enjoyed this post as much as I enjoyed sharing it with you all. Thank you Robin for having me and I can’t wait to come back in December to share some more with you and your readers!
If you enjoyed this post and would like to see more like it… I would love it if you followed along over at One More Time Events.
