“For Thou wilt light my candle; The Lord my God will enlighten my darkness.” Psalm 18:28
What a lovely thought.
I love candles, especially from October to February. And like most things, when you group candles together they make a big statement.
My favorite candles to group together are religious candles. The ones I use are from the Dollar Store!
I have these on the coffee table…They’ll stay here all winter. (the candles last for sooooo long by the way)
* The tray came from Kohl’s– I love it!*
And I’m using them in the bedroom for the holidays. I don’t do much Christmas decorating in our bedroom but these candles give the room a soft, peaceful glow.
The Dollar Store candles are on my Favorite-Things list! Do you have a budget friendly go-to decoration?
~Have a simply glowing day my friends~
Dollar Store Candles! I had no idea. I usually write with a candle going.
Beautiful idea!!!!
Well, I am definitely making a run to the dollar store today! These are so beautiful and I have the perfect place to do this and bring a bit of the glow of the holidays into the bedroom and the dining room. Inspiring, as always, Robin!
Wish I had a dollar store close by! These candles elicit warmth and relaxation. Lovely, Robin! xxoo
It never fails that the simplest decorations make the biggest impact. 🙂 I was just thinking today that I might use candles on my dining room table. Yours look so inviting and beautiful. 🙂 Love the colored lights on your mantel peaking through in the photo too. 😉
Gina, there’s the lovely word again…simple….ahhhhh! I bet these would look gorgeous on the dinning room table xo
I started using this type of candle last winter and fell in love. I have used them in a few rooms around the house for my holiday decorations too! Your so right about a grouping of them. Simple and pretty – – it’s a win, win.
Robin, those candles are great aren’t they??? xo
The candles are lovely grouped together like this and your decorating is very nice. Perhaps you mean St. Augustine, a wonderful Doctor of the Church and son of St. Monica, but the Bible quote “For Thou wilt light my candle; The Lord my God will enlighten my darkness” is from Psalms.
Merry Christmas!
