Last spring I put together my favorite online DIY American Flags because I wanted to make one! Since then I did a String Art Flag and have it sitting in front of the fireplace…
I love that string art flag but I also love these other DIY American Flags…and since it’s all about July 4th here in my little corner of the world, I thought it would be fun to look at these again!
Like the people who made them, all of these flags are so different, but they share a common focus! Enjoy…
Here’s one I found on the Home Depot website complete with DIY measurements and instructions. It seems simple, all you need is a little lumber and paint…
Look at this one! How cute to make a flag from bottle caps!?

And everybody loves pallets! Look at this flag is made from a few pallet slats!
This one is super light weight since it’s made from wood lathes, like those used to make lattice…
And since we’re just about to ease into summer, I so love this coastal inspired flag with rope and star fish!
This is my favorite from Laura at Finding Home Look at this brilliant idea – a flag made form bats…I’m calling this one, The Great American Pass Time Flag!
I had to put this one in…another little Flag is also made with pallet wood…
And how could I possibly leave out this internet sensation, Layla & Kevin’s coastal inspired flag! (The Lettered Cottage) I soooo love it!
I didn’t get a flag made in time for Memorial Day but I’m planning one before the 4th of July!
Thank you to all who have served or have a family member who has (or is) serving our country. I am deeply grateful.
