It’s time to start thinking about DIY gifts if you’re one who like to make your Christmas presents! These are a few of my old go-to gifts to make and a few new favorites…maybe you’ll see something to try for your Christmas list!
I love coasters! They make great little group craft projects and work well for gifts, here are the ones I’ve done in the past…
And for the Starbucks addict these coffee cozies are fun and easy if you can sew just a little!
And if you can’t sew, here are some cute No-Sew Coffee Cozies! These are great for tweens to make at a sleepover!
If you want to whip up a present for the sweet little girl in your life, this doll bed is as easy as it gets…if you sew, add a comfy mattress and quilt! Why not just buy the doll while your at it!?
The Husband made this last summer and I’ve used it for cakes, appetizers and in my decorating! I love this sweet woodland theme cake stand!
If you can sew a straight line this is a fun gift to make! Roll it up and add a couple of wooden spoons, tie with twine and you have a great hostess gift!
If you have a bit of confidence with your wood-working, The Husband tells you how to make this beautiful end-grain cutting board for the cook on your list!
These take less skill than the end-grain cutting boards but they are just as beautiful! I have 6 of these hanging in my kitchen and they add such warmth, not to mention they are perfect for serving appetizers, tiny desserts as well as bread and cheese!
I love these ruffled scarves I made a few years ago, tuck one in a gift bag for that special BFF!
Do you have a Christmas baby on your list this year? This little Owl Hat started as a crocheted cap from Hobby Lobby! Soooo easy!
My daughter Stephanie made a bunch of these one year to give all of Ellie’s friends…they’re so helpful to tuck into your purse and pull out at a restaurant for fussy toddlers!
This is a fun project! Find an adorable (on-sale) placemat and cut out a bib…then iron on vinyl! WaaaLaaa! You have a sweet baby gift!
There’s my list …but I plan to add to it with some new gifts this year! Do you have any go-to DIY Gifts that you make-I’d love some ideas!?
Happy Day Sweet Friends!
