Welcome to my Easter Garden Party!
I was challenged by Kroger a major grocery brand, to put together a party using only items from the store! This challenge was easier than I thought and it was super fun!
I want to bring you some inspiration from that Easter garden party. This post was published earlier and I’m bringing it back in hopes you’ll find a bit on inspiration.
Throwing an Easter Sunday garden party would be just perfect, but you could easily put this outdoor party off until May jor even June if the weather is better for you in those months.
This party was super fun to put together. I wanted everything to be a mix of rustic and refined.
Using Mason Jars and wire baskets I made 2 of these cute chandeliers. (If the party had been in the evening, I would have put sand & candles inside the jars!)
For the centerpiece, I found these adorable birdhouses and put three of them together and adding a little fun with craft sticks and doilies gave me the perfect focal point for the food table …
“Rustic” craft paper and “refined” doilies combine to make a pretty banner…
And the party favors of herbs and fresh flowers in tin cans (decorated with craft paper & dollies), did double duty. They decorated the table during the party and went home with my guests at the end of the day!
I served pink lemonade and fresh veggies for my hungry guests to munch on before dinner…
Speaking of dinner…I filled the table with all-things garden inspired to go with my ham. There was pasta salad with fresh veggies, corn on the cob, strawberry spinach salad, strawberry-banana trifle and peach-blueberry cobbler (I’ll give you the recipes later this week, in case you want to try them…)
After everyone was full…the little people at the party crafted the afternoon away in between swinging and playing ball…
I kept the crafts garden-themed by making Garden-Friends from spoon & rocks …
This day was a good day leaving everyone full of garden fresh food and forever memories.
Happy Spring my friends!
Strawberry-banana trifle sounds and looks amazing Robin!
