Are you doing any fall nesting yet my friends?
It’s early I know, but I’ve been working on a few things, including an easy fall centerpiece!
If you change things up every year like I do, an easy project is important because you know that next fall, everything will look a little different!
I started with glass candleholders I got (end of season) on sale and just layered some fall elements~Spanish moss, fake acorns and pieces of a garland (you could use fall floral picks)…
Really, it couldn’t be easier. (I added a little wheat to the larger container in the center)
In just a few minutes they were done…
While I was at it… I also added this little pumpkin topiary to the dining room. And it was ever so easy too…if you run across a good price on a cement urn-buy it…there’s always something wonderful to do with a little urn 🙂
Oh, and while you’re at it…pick up a bag of Spanish moss. Because truly, I use Spanish moss every time the seasons change…
Who knew a fake pumpkin, an urn, a little spanish moss and some cuttings from a fall garland could make a person so happy…(it doesn’t take much to get me giddy about chilly mornings and cozy sweaters and pumpkins spice everything.)
That’s it…two easy-breezy fall decorations and the only thing I bought was the glass candleholders!
If you’re packing away summer and nesting for fall…what have you done so far?
Sending love sweet friends~xo
If you prefer your creative juice in video form…here’s a super quick video of how I put together the layered centerpiece…

Thought about you yesterday when I bought my very first WHITE pumpkin! What Fun! And now I need Spanish moss and store-bought acorns. 🙂
Aren’t the white pumpkins just divine!!!? xo
Where did you find those fake acorns ???
Betsy, I got them at Hobby Lobby! Hope this helps!
Fall is descending and leaving in a hurry! So many leaves whirling through the air already- so pretty. The stores are already into Winter coats, boots, etc., and hinting of snow and Christmas 🙂 Thankful you fully take in fall!
