Setting an easy fall or Thanksgiving table is a big help when you’re having a large number of family and friends over and you’re running out of time! I did an easy Thanksgiving table last week HERE but thought you might need a few more ides!
Getting stressed during the holidays is not a given ya know… if you start stressing now it’s hard to stop it in December and before you know it, you’ve been a nervous wreck during the whole holiday season! Instead, think for a moment…what’s making you feel the most stressful? Try to take that one thing and plan your way out of your stress…for instance, if you’re hosting Thanksgiving and feeling a little rushed start simplifying. And what better place to start simplifying than your table…
Sources in the post…
This photo is soooo pinned and popular on Pinterest, I think the elegant simplicity is the reason…
This little table has pie pumpkins, gourds and beautiful red berry branches… you are about to have to toss all of those beautiful pumpkins and gourds…why not use them on the Thanksgiving table!
And since we’re talking about gourds…isn’t this the sweetest placecard holder? You could also use these for food labels…
You know how I love all-things-rustic…this table is just wonderful with these sweet little give thanks limbs…
In looking for easy Thanksgiving table ideas the one thing they had in common…using natural elements…
…So if you want to decorate a table easily just go out into the backyard and then make your way to the grocery…
***Wouldn’t this be so cute for food markers!***
I love the way this table has a trough full of harvest goodness and the plates are set off to the side…can’t you imagine everyone filing in and grabbing a plate before serving themselves at the buffet? With a crowd, sometimes it’s better not to have place cards, just let everyone find their own seat!
And lastly, this modern take on a Thanksgiving table is wonderful…branches and painted acorns. What could be easier?
So how about you…do you like simple, easy tables when you’re entertaining?
Sending love sweet friends
xo

I am one of the many who repinned that lovely white pumpkin and orange table. I even set out to make that tablescape happen, only to find, white pumpkins are super hard to find in Seattle, after Halloween, and at a reasonable price. It’s my goal for next year.
Dawn it’s just a perfect table! xo
I like all the Thanksgiving table ideas! The pictures are beautiful. We had a bumper crop of acorns in my yard last year and I like the table with the painted acorns the best. Very clever and pretty! Keep posting these incredible ideas and helping the decorating challenged people!
Love your blog~

There are so many decorating ideas it is hard to choose. I love the bittersweet. My mother-in-law and father-in-law would go bittersweet hunting and come back with bushels of it. I wish they were still alive. They were the sweetest most giving people. I sure lucked out on my in-laws 🙂

The money would really help with buying my kids Christmas presents.
I like to go simple all the way. When I was much younger with small children, I would stress out that everything had to perfect for our family Christmas party that we hosted every year. Now that I am older, I find that the simplest way is the only way for me to keep me stress-free. I like the idea of having no place cards and having everyone sit where they want after filling their plates from the buffet. I also, like the tree branch with the colored acorns for the table centerpiece.
Love the ideas using natural elements and especially love the white pumpkins! Happy Thanksgiving!
