The week between Christmas and New Year’s Day might be my favorite week of the year.
It’s when I set aside time to look back before I move forward. Keeping a prayer journal, makes it easy to see how God has been leading me and answering my prayers over the past 12 months. And keeping up with this blog makes it easy to see all the projects Mike and I have been doing this year!
Today, I picked out a baker’s dozen of my favorite posts of 2015! If you have a minute I’d love to show you what we’ve been up to!
In January, I wrote a heart post about why I love my home and which meaningful elements I like to use in my decorating…
In February, I made these Scrap Wood Hearts , just in time for Valentine’s Day! Scraps of moldings give them an interesting texture as did the crackle paint technique…
In March, with spring just around the corner, I posted some ideas for an Outdoor Garden Party...just in time for Easter!
In April, when the flowers started blooming and the yard turned lush green, I partnered with Department 56 and made a lovely outdoor fairy garden…this was a whole lot more fun than I ever expected…
In May, I did a tutorial for my String Art Flag…(this is one of my favorite projects!)
In June, with all things patriotic on my mind, I did a quick makeover on a Milk Can..
In July I finally got to show you buys our Master Bath Remodel! Wow, this was a long time coming but we love it!
In August, I finished my Pallet Wood Signs for the breakfast room…
In September, I was planning my fall mantel and wanted to use vintage crates…when I couldn’t find the crates I wanted, I made new crates look vintage…HERE
In October, there was a shabby chic fall table...
And we finally found the just-right piece (an antique mirror from France) for over the bed...but we were still looking for 2 pieces for over the night stands!
In November, I made lots of 5 Minute Ornaments for this Snowy Woodland Tree…
In December, I did 10 chapters in my series: All Things Home for the Holidays , to help us “find inspiration for what matters most in the holiday season.”
What a blessed year… Mike has fully recovered from his spinal infection and DVT and we’ve already started on our first project of 2017!
Prayers for each one of you to have a 2016 full of good things…sending love my friends~xo
And I’m going to favorite this page to help me know how to celebrate each month in 2016! I always have to say, “Robin, is it time to….”
XOXOXO

Hi Robin, I remember drooling over your master bathroom back in July, but hadn’t seen the rest of your creativity. Thanks for inspiring me for a creative 2016.
