A Gluten Free Thanksgiving Dinner is a necessity for so many people, not a diet choice, but an absolute necessity. It you have Celiac Disease or might be hosting Thanksgiving and need to cook for a gluten free friend, I have some tried and true recipes for you!
I was so depressed about Thanksgiving dinner the first year after I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease, but The Husband rescued me and researched recipes and came up with a great gluten free Thanksgiving dinner! He always makes the dressing and gravy at our dinner, his mother’s recipe, and he makes an amazing gluten free dressing for me!
If you don’t want to make dressing however, I love the Gluten Free Stuffing Mix by Three Bakers!
I also love this recipe for cranberry sauce! (It’s also really good on a turkey sandwich on the day after Thanksgiving! )
The Husband found this recipe and I gotta tell you, if you want a potato recipe that’s a little bit fancy, ya gotta give this a go! It’s delicious…
Canadian Bacon Swiss Chard Gratin~Gluten Free Naturally
Squash Vidalia Onion Casserole is one of my favorites, my daughter Emma is making it this year for our dinner! (It’s gluten free easily!)
And we can’t forget about dessert! I love this recipe from Southern Living…holy cannoli! It’s creamy dreamy and it’s pretty enough for yout Thanksgiving table 🙂
Do you have anyone in your family with Celiac Disease? If you do they will love you forever if you cook gluten free for them on Thanksgiving! (Just be extra careful to keep your gluten free food in a completely clean environment away from any other food you may be preparing, cross contamination can make a person with Celiac very ill)
What’s on your menu this Thanksgiving my friends xo
