I’m thinking these tiny gourds went from adorable to simply divine! And functional!!! I’m already thinking Thanksgiving Table…Check out Susan’s blog-party at Between Naps on the Porch where you’ll find loads of before and afters to inspire you!
Last Friday was my daughter’s best friend’s wedding. I got to help a little.I put together this little post with pumpkins in mind. I’ll be posting the other decorating details of this super fun wedding later in the week!
When planning the decorations for the reception tables, my thought was that The Husband would help me carve out these 65 tiny pumpkins…and of course when I say “help” I mean that HE would do the carving. But he was spending all his time at the hospital/hospice with his mom and dad. So, Wednesday night … I became like the Incredible Hulk. Okay, maybe like Rambo. No, more like Tim the Tool Man Taylor…and …
And I took a drill to these 65 little gourds. Me and my arthritic hands had tiny pumpkin guts all over the basement. But I did it!!!
Sixty-five of these puppies…they turned out pretty cute. I think if you did only 6 or 7 it would be a breeze. They would look pretty on a Thanksgiving table…
Here’s a sneak preview of one of the tables at the wedding…I’ll post more later…
Can’t wait to see your pics…love these baby pumpkins you carved. We got together at Katie’s last night for the annual pumpkin carving–thanks to you. 🙂
I’ll be excited to see the photos too! Happy celebrating and making more memories with family. Love the table setting! Would love to see more.

I laughed when you said “Pumpkin guts”. I bet everyone like these even if you find pumpkin guts for the next few weeks.
