Hey Guys!
Today I wanted to tell you about my beautiful daughter Bethany and her upcoming run, The New York Marathon.
Bethany’s been faithfully training for months, I’m in awe of someone who has the discipline to train for a marathon. I’m going to ask her some questions about the inner strength it takes to accomplish a goal like that…I think there are some life-lessons in here somewhere.
Bethany is running on behalf of the American Heart Association in honor of my mom, her Nanny!
Mom passed away in 2007 from complications of heart bypass surgery.
She had Coronary Artery Disease….did you know that heart disease is the number 1 killer of women?
Here’s is Bethany’s American Heart Association link: (HERE)
Click over to see Bethany’s page...and if you have an extra dollar would you consider donating to the American Heart Association on behalf of Mama?
Thanks so much my friends…
What a beautiful way to honor her Nanny! I admire anyone who undertakes running a marathon. The training alone must be grueling and tough, but also extremely rewarding. Will be pulling for her and hopping over to her AHA link now!
God bless her! I doubt could run to the cornew right now. I am hoping to get back to exercising SOON. I guess ahve gotten alot of exercise moving though. Bethany IS beautiful, just like here ama! XOXO, Pinky
Nice! One of my best friends just completed her second marathon and I’m in awe of her, too. Go, strong women! How nice that your daughter is doing something like this to honor your mother, she must make you proud.
I ran NYC last year. It was the experience of a life time. I am so excited for Bethany. I will be thinking of her on Nov. 4.
