A party with an Italian Appetizer menu is so easy and absolutely delicious!
First things first…you’ll have to give a little thought to the drinks!
World Market has some great Italian Sodas and Sparkling Water…at our party, the Woodland Theme Baby Shower, we used the Italian sodas and sparkling water instead of punch…
And Antipasto Skewers are super easy…all you need is marinated mozzarella, prosciutto, marinated olives, tortellini and cherry tomatoes…and could there be anything prettier? This appetizer is a keeper!
The Stuffed Baby Bella Mushrooms were so good. The recipe was from The Pioneer Woman HERE. (I changed 2 things: the mushrooms, I used baby bella and I used regular sausage instead of hot sausage) *these are gluten-free naturally*
I cut up some bread and toasted it with fresh mozzarella and added a spoonful of chicken salad…
And the Italian Meatballs were a recipe slightly adapted from The Pioneer Woman HERE. I just substituted Italian Gluten Free Bread Crumbs (made from Italian Bread Sticks) for regular bread crumbs…these were a keeper too, I’ll be doing them again. *these are gluten-free naturally*
Bruschetta is easy, especially if you use pre-made from World Market!
I like to add fresh Mozzarella to circles of bread, toast and then add a spoonful of bruschetta …
We had Italian Cream Cupcakes for dessert along with Chocolate and Strawberry…
This was a really fun menu for a shower! What’s the best shower food you’ve ever had?
Hi Robin
See I told you I would go for it and leave a comment 🙂
I am Italian so all of your goodies are amazing. I love the sodas, great idea. I love the skewers. I am going to use those around the holidays. The best baby shower food I had was when my Mom made sausage, pepper and onion and then put out heated, toasted wedges. Oh my gosh that is so good. Did you make those cupcakes? You always do such a fabulous job with your entertaining good and decor
have a great day Robin

are you kidding me, I finally leave a comment and I mess up a bunch of words. The (good) is suppose to be (food) and I was suppose to say that you put the sausage, pepper and onion on the wedges. oh boy, I can’t type

Deezie! Thank you 🙂 oxoxo
How scrumptious this looks! And I think we could eat almost everything?? Maybe not the cupcakes. Would have never in a gazillion years thought to do an Italian food baby shower. I LOVE IT!!!
I’m so hungry right now- I’ll have one of each please! We simply do cake and punch mostly, for our baby showers. How fun to do food and a theme like you have done! So memorable and I am sure everyone loves taking in all the fun ideas and inspiration!! You rock at this Robin! Just breath taking 🙂
Vicky, thank you sweet friend! Praying for you as always xo
Yummy yummy yummy. Now I’m hungry for lunch 😉
Hi Robin
I love all your ideas! I stumbled upon your site because I’m doing a woodland themed baby shower. Love everything you have done! I don’t see a pic of the meatballs. Curious if you had them in sauce or without sauce? Thank you in advance!! Ps. We are doing your pumpkins too!!!
Kelly, oh my goodness! I hadn’t noticed that I missed taking a picture of the meatballs! Yes I poured red sauce over them and put them in a chaffing dish! They weren’t really pretty but they sure were delicious! Happy to meet you my new friend ! ox
Thank you Robin! Happy to meet you as well!!
