Keeping my pantry organized when I’m doing holiday cooking and baking is nearly impossible. But this year I hit January with the pantry in tact. The reason? I think it was the two small pantry organizing projects I did in early December.
Remember the little pantry we put in after we moved to Stone House Lane? (HERE)ย After using the pantry a few months I thought it needed a couple of things.
First: Jar labels!
The best place I know to grab jar labels is over at The House of Smiths Designs!
There are loads of labels to choose from but I went with Chalk Labels because I wanted to add my own words! You know …like Gluten Free Flour or Dark Brown Sugar or Gluten Free Oats!
The labels are reasonably priced and I’m so happy with mine!
I ordered a white chalk board pen from Amazon to write on the labels!
Before we move on…Have you visited The House of Smith’s Designs ? If not, you have to! There are vinyls galore!
I’m thinking about getting this Laundry Room vinyl and make a little sign!
But now, back to the pantry…
My second issue was shelf paper!
I found this pretty shelf paper (soft gray toile) at the dollar store!
Love my labels…
And my budget friendly shelf paper ๐
This was the easiest project and made me want to keep everything in order in the pantry during December. I think this is the first January that I haven’t had to take everything out of the pantry do a deep cleaning! How did your pantry, cabinets/cupboards hold up during the holidays?
Have a delightful day my friends…
Soooooo neat, Robin. And nothing falls out when you open your pantry door. Ahem……
Love it.
And who would think to order a white pen? I didn’t even know they made them!!
xoxoxo
Julie…no, AT THIS point nothing falls out ๐ We’ll see in 6 months! xo
I have 2 tiny pantries but yours is exactly like the best pantry I ever had and that was one Joe built in our 2nd home. It was 1 foot deep but had 2 sliding doors like this and was PERFECT for dishes, food, staples and appliances! My daughter just told me about some pantry liner stuff she got and I am going to look into it cause it is for the darn (dreaded) wire shelves that we have:( Hugs to you!! Pinky
Pinky, I’ve had the wire shelves in lots of closets, shelf liner is a life saver!!! xo
You are the neatest person I know !! I love the labels and the shelf paper.
Where did you get your storage jars?
Everything looks very pretty~
Brenda I got the jars at Walmart and Target! They are super cheap! xo
The toile shelf liner is adorable! It really makes the shelves look so finished and pretty. Honestly my pantry is a mess and part of the problem is NO organization. You will find everything from food, to storage containers to well I am afraid to even dig too much for fear of what I will find ๐
Vicky, I wish I lived close so we could organize!!! xoxo (and for a million other reasons)
Love your pantry and especially the color combinations. Is the gray color Behr “Dolphin Fin?” I’m looking for a soft gray for my bathroom, and this color is just what I’m looking for!
Hi Marie!
Yes Dolphin Fin is a Behr color! You are going to love it! Depending on the lighting of course. It’s the color I used in my kitchen/breakfast room and on the bottom of the dining room walls! The perfect mix of gray with soft blue undertones! xo
Nice. Thank a lot for taking the time. I’ll come back to see what’s new and tell my people about your writing.
