Every once in a while I love to tell you, my friends, about organizations that are spreading good in the world. Today I’m so excited to tell you about Peach’s Neet Feet!
(oh, by the way…this is not a sponsored post 🙂 )
I heard about Peach’s Neet Feet through my friends a Decoart (Decoart provides paint to Neet Feet) & I was so touched by the sheer sweetness of the non-profit, that I couldn’t wait to tell you about them. Here’s the scoop…
Peach’s Neet Feet is an “organization that provides custom, hand-painted shoes to children living with disabilities and fighting serious illnesses. Neet Feet was founded by Madison Steiner.” I’ve been reading about Madison and wow! What a heart she has…
Her desire is to- ” live a purposeful life, to inspire quietly with fierce passion and to change the world.”
“What began as a love of art and giving has grown into a movement of kindness.” A movement of kindness…doesn’t that warm your heart?
“Through her work, Madison is raising consciousness about generosity. She invites everyone to see themselves beyond what society calls them and begin spreading kindness in their own communities.”
“Each pair of Peach’s Neet Feet is custom and hand-painted. Every shoe is customized to complement each child’s life, interest, and courageous fight. “
Just look at some of these sweet shoes painted especially for precious children living with disabilities or fighting serious illness…
Can you imagine how excited kids are when they get a personalized pair of kicks like those???
The shoes are just perfection and it’s no wonder..they have a bunch of talented artists that help with the shoes (check out the artists HERE)
They also are supported by lots of big name companies like Vans, Footlocker, and DecoArt (and many others!)-The organization also works with several Children’s hospitals across and outside of the United States.
But…here’s the great thing… regular people like me and amazing people like YOU can support them too!!!
Here are a few ways we can help out…
***We can participate by being a Shoe Fairy!!! (HERE)(who wouldn’t want to be a shoe fairy!?)
***Have Peach Parties! (HERE)
You guys know I have four tiny granddaughters –the idea of a child suffering from a disability or illness just breaks my heart, this organization brings a bit of sunshine to these little ones…this video is so touching and around the 10:50 minute mark, Madison tells about some of those little ones and the impact of something so small as a pair of shoes painted just for them…
~I thought you might just love this as much as I do sweet friends~
