Today I’m in the mood for pink and while it may be because Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, it’s more than likely because I’ve always had a soft spot for soft pink! But I’m not the only one…our friends at Behr Paint are doing a Facebook Pink & Red Color Sample Giveaway! I’ll tell you how easy it is to enter at the end of this post!
But first, wanna see some pinkspiration? I have a board on Pinterest: All Things Pink If you like pink at all, you gotta check it out, I think you’ll like it!
Now, here’s a bit of Valentine eye candy from my Pinterest board…
I think my backyard birds would love this little pink house…
And if I lived in a cottage by the sea I would soooo love to have a pink door…
Lastly, how about this…I’m a little bit in love with it…if only it weren’t $4900.00!
Of course pink isn’t the only go-to color for Valentine’s Day…I couldn’t forget the big, bold color...red!
I found some red inspiration too…
Doesn’t this sign just sing: All ya need is love…love is all ya need –
And who doesn’t love a red-door-welcome – even if the red door leads to the pantry?
Red is such a powerful color that it doesn’t take much to give warmth to a space…

How’s that for a little color inspiration?
If you’re interested in adding a splash of pink or red to a project or even a whole room here are the Trending Pinks and Reds from Behr Paint…
In honor of Valentine’s Day and Behr Paint’s Facebook giveaway, I did a little pink project…
This frame was silver when I found it at a thrift store but I thought it would look prettier pink! I painted it with Behr’s Bee’s Knees-it’s one of my favorite pinks, so soft and subtle.
Then The Husband cut some plywood to fit inside the frame and I covered the wood with this beeeeeautiful fabric. Can you guess what this is going to be??? It has a purpose besides just being pretty~Later this week I’ll show you the finished project!
***But now I wanna tell you about the Behr Paint Giveaway! It’s easy, easy, easy to enter…just go to the Behr Paint Pink and Red Color Sample Giveaway on Facebook!

Maybe since my name is Pinky, I have never been drawn to pink!!!! I don’t know, I am just more a warm, earth colors girl. I am guessing your project is going to be for jewelry???? Am I close??? XO, pinky
Pinky, you’re so very close…uhum. The brick reds would blen well with your earth tones don’t you think??? xoxo
Well, you’ve stumped me. I don’t know what you’re making, but it’s gonna be pretty!
I’m a red kinda girl (over pink). Can’t imagine why. 🙂 And I love the Behr color Licorice Stick!
Jewles, Licorice Stick is perfect for you! I hope you enter their contest! xo
Really loving the project…..so far. Maybe going to hang ??? from it, not sure. Waiting!!!!! I love pink but I wear it more than decorate with it. I like red better to decorate with, it pops!
Diana, red really does pop! And although I do have some vintage fabric in frames I’m not doing this one to hang up 🙂 xo
