Are you short on time but still want to add a little something to your Christmas decor this year? These quick and easy Christmas candles might work for you! They take 5 minutes to make, are battery operated and light up on a timer, so you literally make them in a jiffy, put them out and never have to think about them again.
They look pretty anywhere you want to add a little glow.
And they work great for a quick table setting…
If you’ve got 5 minutes let’s do this! Grab some battery operated candles and make sure they turn on with a timer.
Twist off the bottom piece. (Mine are plastic and the bottom part isn’t glued to the candle so it comes apart with ease)
Use a base that is cohesive with your home. I used rustic clay pots but a galvanized, ceramic or wood container will work too.
Add floral foam or styrofoam to your container, wedging it in tight…
Now, push the candle all the way into the foam and add a bit of spanish moss or wood beads (or tiny acorns, berries or small evergreen pieces) to the top to hide the foam… I made a bunch of these and put them all over!
