If there’s one thing that makes me think summer more than an other, I think it’s sea glass. Sea glass, fake or real, conjures up images of beach walks in the cool sand at sunrise and the rhythmic sound of waves crashing on the shore. I have a lot of (fake) sea glass and a couple of years ago I made some sea glass wreaths that I want to share with you again.
Like all my projects, this one’s easy…just take a bit of sea glass, the flatter the better…
And a particle board small wreath frame (found in the floral department of your favorite craft store), ribbon and a glue gun…that’s it!
Wrap the ribbon around the particle board wreath frame and secure with hot glue.
Now start adding sea glass…layer it one on top of the other until you like the way it looks!
I did a larger wreath too, although I liked the way it turned out I prefer the smaller wreaths…
…Like this one!
This is a quick and super easy project that brings the soft colors of sea glass into your space…
Have a sun-filled day my friends!

Those are beautiful! I think I like the little one on the birdhouse the best.
Cheers!

They’re so pretty, I wanted to see what they taste like!
They’re so light and magical. Beautiful, Robin–like everything you put your hands to. Just beautiful.
Very pretty wreaths~ Love looking at your projects!
so pretty! My mother-in-love introduced me to sea glass when I first got married. I am from Colorado, so you can imagine that I had never even really seen it lol! I love the soft colors:-)
So beautiful! I love it! Wishing I had some seaglass laying around now 🙂
Robin, I love this! The Hubby and I are in the process of finally doing something with the patio off of our master. We just took out a window and added glass doors. I’m still trying to decide if I want to stain the concrete or paint it with some sort of design. We are going to be working on a DIY patio sectional that I found on Pinterest this weekend. Then, the decor, which will be a beach cottage chic theme and I think that this will be perfect for the space.
Jenna, that sound AMAZING!!!! Do you have a blog? I’d so love to see photos of the finished space! love your ideas! xoxo
