It’s the over-the-river-and-through-the-woods month!
I love everything about November. The late autumn chill, the crunching leaves on my morning walk, starting and ending the day by firelight and of course my second favorite holiday! Thanksgiving!
It’s about time to think about the Thanksgiving menu and try any new recipes you may be planning. Last year was my first Thanksgiving after being diagnosed with Celiac Disease. The Husband, in an effort to make Thanksgiving dinner special for me, tried a couple of dressing recipes before the big day. If you have Celiac or a gluten intolerance this recipe is amazing. No kidding, I didn’t feel cheated at all!
Gluten Free Dressing and Gravy
I also made this recipe last year and I’ll definitely have some around this Thanksgiving! (It’s also really good on a turkey sandwich on the day after Thanksgiving! )
Cranberry Pineapple Relish~Gluten Free Naturally!
The Husband found this recipe and I gotta tell you, if you want a potato recipe that’s a little bit fancy, ya gotta give this a go! It’s delicious…
Canadian Bacon Swiss Chard Gratin~Gluten Free Naturally
And we always have this…Southern Fried Corn. I really can’t say enough about this …except that this is the #1 googled recipe coming into All Things Heart and Home…it’s good people.
And we can’t forget about dessert! Last year I tried this new recipe from Southern Living…holy cannoli! It was creamy dreamy and it looked oh-so-pretty!
Pumpkin Cheesecake with Ginger Snap Pecan Crust~Gluten Free Easily!
So that’s the story Morning Glory! We’re dreamin of Thanksgiving around here!
What’s your favorite dish for Thanksgiving and will you be trying any new recipes this year?
Sending you over-the-river-and-through-the-woods warm fuzzies my friends!
I’ll never, no not EVER forget last Thanksgiving when you shared your amazing GF Thanksgiving yummies with me.
I love you. Tell The Husband thank you again for me!!!

Do you have room for one more at your table? Holy mackerel does some of that look good! However, my tastes would be limited to the turkey & gravy and corn. But that will do. 🙂
Bill if you and your wife ever come south you have somewhere to stay! You’re always welcome my friend and I’ll cook everything without nuts!!!! 🙂
Favorite Thanksgiving dishes are my great grandmother’s recipe for dressing. It has chesnuts in it!! Yum! And cushaw pie…just like pumpkin pie but made with the ghord cushaw. LOVE!! 😉 No new recipes for me. One thing I like about Thanksgiving is the same menu every year. If someone diverts from the menu and brings something new I rarely even try it. Can’t hold it all. =O =P
Gina…Gina your Grandmother’s recipe sounds wonderful! I’ve never had cushaw pie!!!!!! Wow, it sounds good too!
