I wanted to do an update on Bethany & Darren’s (my daughter and SIL’s) house. (my 1st post on their house HERE) It’s getting close! They’re finishing up those last details, hopefully it’ll be move in ready at some point in April!
Ya know at the end of project comes the fun stuff like lighting! Some of the lights have already gone in…
The pendants over the island are dreamy I think, the “feel” of the house will lean towards French country…
The entry way lights are beautiful too…
And, these lights in the dining room room might be my favorites. (The color on the wall is a Restoration Hardware color- it’s bold and beautiful in the large space 🙂
And there aren’t any lights to show you in the pantry, but I love this space! What a lot of storage in here!!!
There finishing up outside details too…this space is the drive under that leads to the garage…I’m crazy about this light!
The detached garage is just as charming as the house, I love the painted brick…although the house is brand new, it’s cohesive with other homes in the neighborhood that have been there for decades…
And spring is coming (soon I hope), so the landscaping is going to be fun to watch! I love the stone wall going up…
Building a house is such a long process, I’m completely overwhelmed with all the hundreds of details and decisions that have to be made-but when you get to this point, I’d imagine it’s kinda fun!
(a few of you wanted to know who is building Bethany & Darren’s house…in case you are wondering, it’s Trewin Homes !)
Have a wonderful day my friends
xo
Wow, Robin, it’s beautiful!! I want to move in with them.

Holy moly! What a stunning place. The pendants over the island are totally dreamy, I couldn’t agree more!
That is one massive yet gorgeous home. I love all the different touches and the French country vibe. Particularly like the warmth of the brick in the kitchen.
Claire, the brick is my favorite too! It just gives the kitchen some character doesn’t it??? xo
