I saw a flickr photo with a recipe for Warm Toasted Marshmallow S’mores on Stumbleupon! The recipe was easy, easy!
I tried it on Saturday and added a little malted milk powder and they are so good! If you’ve got spring-break coming up with a few little-ones this would be a great little rainy day baking project!
Warm Toasted Marshmallow Malted Milk S’mores!
* 1 pouch (1 lb 1.5 oz) Betty Crocker® sugar cookie mix
* 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
*1/2 Cup Malted Milk Powder
*1 cup butter or margarine, melted
*3 cups milk chocolate chips (18 oz)
*4 1/2 cups miniature marshmallows
1. Heat oven to 375°F. In large bowl, stir together cookie mix, crumbs and malted milk powder. Stir in melted butter until soft dough forms. Press into ungreased 13×9-inch pan.
2. Bake 18 to 20 minutes or until set. Immediately sprinkle chocolate chips over crust. Let stand 3 to 5 minutes or until chocolate begins to melt. Spread chocolate evenly over crust.
3. Set oven control to broil. Sprinkle marshmallows over melted chocolate. Broil with top 4 to 5 inches from heat 20 to 30 seconds or until marshmallows are toasted. (Watch closely; marshmallows will brown quickly.) Cool 10 minutes. For bars, cut into 6 rows by 4 rows. Serve warm. Store any remaining bars tightly covered.
Super easy my friends and really yummy!

Where do I begin to describe the longing in my mouth for something like that? Anything with the name s’mores in it and I am all over it. I long for summer and roasting marshmallows over the fire, but the broiler may suffice in the meantime! xoxo
Oh boy do these look good or what! I just want to let you know that I love your blog and wanted to share a little gift with you! Click here
We just spent the weekend at our son and DIL’s house helping them clear brush and build a garden spot. In the evening we burned the brush and cooked s’mores. Only they used peanutbutter cups instead of chocolate. They were sooo good. But then again I am a sucker for anything with the word s’mores in it! Going to try your recipe tonight!
i had to go pick up some prescriptions at publix this afternoon, so i thought i’d do the convenient thing and pick up these ingredients. thanks…you’re such an enabler!
Oh no Robin!!! There goes the Weight Watchers! I knew I should not have looked, they look so bad! I may have to try them 🙂
Have a blessed day!

Yum! I love smores, but they are time consuming and this is a great way to enjoy them all the time.
So I saw these yesterday and could NOT get them out of my head! Off to the store last night to get the ingredients I didn’t have and I whipped up a batch for my husband and son who was home from college. Okay, so they were REALLY for me 🙂 Oh my gosh — if you need a chocolate fix in a hurry . . . make these! Fabulous!
Oh my gosh, those have got to be the ultimate s’mores. I’ll take a whole panful of those. I have a sweet treat linky party going on at my blog and I’d like to invite you to stop by and link your s’mores up. http://sweet-as-sugar-cookies.blogspot.com/2011/04/sweets-for-saturday-11.html
