Have you ever had a white Christmas?
I live in the deep south (of the US) and I can only remember one snow on Christmas day…
It was a long time ago when our children were still smallish. Mike and I woke before dawn to turn on the Christmas lights, start the coffee and let the dog out…
When I turned on the outside flood lights all the wonder of childhood came rushing in. Our back yard was transformed overnight. Bare tree limbs, now snow-covered, were gracefully silhouetted against the dark sky…
It only took a split second and the surprise of a Christmas snow to bring me to that magical place that I so easily slipped into as a child.
You know…the wonder…
Maybe that’s why I have a snow-presence in every room during Christmas…
Just hoping to step back into the wonder of the season…
And honestly, when I slow down enough to enjoy my moments…something as simple as a snow-globe or a snow theme table really does bring back the wonder…
What is it that surprises you…gives you butterflies and brings you wonder during the holidays?
***Almost everything on this table came from Target… the sparkly ribbon I used for a table runner, the snow globes, the silver chargers, the trees, the deer, the tiny lights…even the snow!***
***Target did not sponsor this post, I just wanted you to know where to get all this snowy goodness!***

Robin, I wish I could pack up and send you down some of our snow in Upstate NY! I’m a California native and moved East in 1989, so I guess I’m almost a East Coaster now lol! I don’t mind the seasons, but the winters are just too long!
You did a beautiful job of capturing the beauty and wonder of the snow there in your house, and it really does remind me of how beautiful it can be around here!
Taylor ohhhh my friend I so wish we would get just a little of your beautiful snow! I bet you can take such magical photos in the snowy season! (hint hint…I’d love to see them sometimes:) If you have an extra few minutes, post some on my Facebook page ! ox)
Robin, it’s all so beautiful! I feel about six years old again.
Wish you could do a youtube of you walking from room to room. 🙂
Beautiful, Robin! I love anything to do with snow. I guess it’s because I grew up with it but where I live now, I don’t get to see it.
