A once-in-a-lifetime white Christmas…
The first measurable snowfall in the deep South of the US in over a hundred years…
After living through a white Christmas I’ve come to the conclusion…
~it’s as magical as I imagined~

Finding inspiration for what matters most in my heart and in my home.
Maybe a little like heaven.
We’re supposed to get that today, Robin! They say it could be 16 inches by the time it’s done. I’m not looking forward to it. We got pretty beat up last year with lots of snow and I was hoping we’d get a break this year. Cold I can take; snow, not so much anymore!
It is on it’s way here. WE are supposed to get 9-12 inches. Any minute now it should start. I HAD plans to go out today, they are now on hold:(:( Darn! Hope your day was magical and cozy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! XOXO
I can’t tell in your photo, but if you managed to get the kind of snowfall that is big and fluffy and softly falling – well, there is nothing more magical, especially around Christmas. Each flake is a work of wonder. I so glad that you got to experience it. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Being from NY, I can’t imagine what Christmas is like without snow. Enjoy it…it really is magical!
Awwww, I hoped we would get one but not this year. So glad you got one though. Everyone should get the chance to have that experience.

Strange that it snowed in the South, but our grass was green in NY for Christmas! Waiting for the big snowstorm to make it’s appearance soon. I hope you had a great Christmas Kathy!!

I can’t even delete my message. (definite foot in mouth). Please forgive!!

Oh, how beautiful this is! This could be your Christmas card for next card — definitely looks like one.

Beautiful picture! We are into our third day of snow. Not loving it at this point. =P My daughter did get to leave today though to drive back to D.C. Even if she did have to walk down our snow covered hill to her car parked a ways away. 😉
We enjoyed our white Christmas too! It was so beautiful!!! It had not snowed here for Christmas since 1969! We got 7 inches!!! Then New Year’s day it was near 60. Quite a change in a week’s time! Love & blessings from NC!
