Fall porches are popping up everywhere!
(Sources listed below in post)
I put together a few of my favorite porches and what makes them special (from my Pinterest Board: All Things Autumn!)
This might be my favorite ever, it looks like a lot of friends and family have been welcomed onto this sweet porch…
And I love this one because you don’t necessarily have to have a big porch to give friends a fall welcome, pumpkins and mums spill out onto the walkway and say “Come in”!

Iย have a small porch and here are a couple of ways I’ve welcomed fall…
Home Tourย 2014
And for Halloween, I like to change it up a bit!
There are as many different ways to create a fall porch as there are unique and clever people putting them together…like you! But for me, there are a few common elements that make me feel the warmth of the season. This porch combines some of those autumnal elements …
These lanterns are filled them with tiny pumpkins and gourds…
As the Autumnal Equinox approaches bringing with it earlier sunsets and longer evenings I can’t resist the glow of candlelight…or at least tiny lights that look like candles. A fall porch with some sort of glow is ideal for welcoming the season.
Pumpkin topiaries are everywhere and I want to do one or three ๐ This is a fun take on them…street numbers.
If you have outdoor furniture on your porch why not give it a little fall-love…
And this little plaid pillow tucked onto the bench make me want to come outside with some hot cider and breathe in the season…
I love this porch…pretty much everything about it. (The teal trim is divine) I especially love the hay bails! I always use hay bails in the backyard but this year I just might bring them front and center…
So those are a few of my favorite fall porches…what do you do in the front of your home to give a warm fall welcome?
Sending love my friends

Did a little bit of porch decorating yesterday. Now I need some mums and pumpkins!
These are soooo inviting, Robin. So very welcoming!!
Julie, You have the BEST porch Julie and decorating it will make your porch parties even better! ox
I am itching to start some Fall decorating on the porch! I look at all the lovely photos and am so inspired….until I step out in the 100 degree heat we are still experiencing. Somehow, it just takes the wind out of my sails and I decide to wait a bit longer. Hopefully, it will start cooling off soon and it will seem more “appropriate” to be lugging out the bins of decorations! Until then, I’m enjoying soaking up all the ideas and inspiration and putting together my decorating strategy in the my mind. Keep inspiring me!!!
Jane…It’s coming!! One morning we’ll get up and the air will be fresh and cool…sigh. It won’t be long now xo
Well- its 95 degrees and so humid that anything outside right now would shrivel I think ๐ My tomatoes are just starting to ripen! So no fall feelings happening here yet- but I did buy some pumpkin spice creamer the other day so I suppose I am getting ready in some regards ๐ Love to you sweet friend!
Vicky, 95*!!! You guys have had our summer temps! And we don’t have pumpkin spice in the stores yet!!! Somehow they think the south isn’t ready for fall yet! sending love right back my friend xo
The photos are very inspiring! Hoping to get some mums and pansy’s soon but will wait a bit on the pumpkins til the cooler breezes blow ๐ I did have a iced pumpkin spiced latte last week ..trying to think Fall. Thanks for sharing.
Cindy, A pumpkin spice latte is the PERFECT start to fall isn’t it!!!? oxox
Me being from Germany, I have to say that a fall porch is something typically American and I love it. There is just nothing like it at least where I come from.
Julia, I never considered that a seasonal fall porch was something American…wow. Don’t want to take that for granted because I love ’em too sweet friend xo
Nothing so far. GREAT inspiration!!!
Blessings,
Cindy
Cindy, it’s still early I know and it still super hot here in the deep south…but it won’t be long now! xo
