When one of my tiny granddaughters comes to spend the night, I like to have some sort of crafty thing for them to do.
Here are a few fall kids craft ideas using paint, craft paper and their tiny hand prints…
They are really self explanatory so I won’t bore you.
Ellie loves to do anything with paints…
She says she can’t decide if she wants to be a baker or an artist when she grows up 🙂 I tell her to do both!
Here’s her little night-owl picture...(great idea from: Rips in my Jeans blog)
And in this one she’s used her tiny fingerprints to make fall leaves…(couldn’t find source for this one)
I did this little owl craft with all of the girls. (ages 1 yr. to 3 1/2) You cut out the shapes and help them glue them on, then paint their palms and press them where wings would be…I did 2 each of these so they could take one home with them! (Source: Meet the Dubiens)
I like to display their art by hanging it on a ‘close-line’ of ribbon or a bunting in their room…

Have a creative day my friends!
This is about so much more than art, you know…..
You’re showing them they are Loved. Precious. Special. Valued.
Of all your posts that catch my heart, this one tops them.
Aww, love this so much. Guess that’s why I chose kids’ crafts for my 31 days this year 😉
Tell sweet Ellie that, yes, she can be an artist and a baker and anything else she wants. I just hope she becomes a wonderful blogger like her wonderful grandmother so the world can see her Light.
